Ph.D. thesis, Rappresentazioni proiettive: Applicazioni nella teoria quantistica (Ray Representations: Application in quantum theory), Gianluigi Filippelli realized one unitary treatment of the ray representations theory, to develop applications in quantum theory. About applications in quantum theory, Gianluigi has studied abelian group and pseudo-orthogonal transformation group, and rotation and Galilean groups. In the case of the Galilean group I study first the (3 + 1) dimensions case (Bargmann, 1954), second the (2 + 1) dimensions case (Grigore, 1995; Bose, 1995), and finally the (1 + 1) dimensions case (Doebner and Mann, 1995). In this last case, Gianluigi Filippelli extends the Doebner-Mann procedure to (2 + 1) and (3 + 1) dimensions, calculating a Galilean ray representation explicitly time depending. The results of this work was presented ad 2007 Integrable Systems' Prague Conference, with the talk "TIME DEPENDENT QUANTUM GENERATORS FOR THE GALILEI GROUP." |
