Italian Ministry of Education Universities and Research

In order to digitize state schools for 2.0 Education,  the Italian Government has allocated appropriate funds. 

With the purchase of equipment and new technology as well as teacher training programs, the Italian Ministry of Education Universities and Research had allocated 2.5M Euros in the Tuscany region.

The regions of Abruzzo, Basilicata, Emilia Romagna, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Lazio, Liguria, Lombardia, Marche, Molise, Piemonte, and Umbria have similarly signed the same "operative code" with The Education Ministry.

In these eleven regions the decision to launch a "digital revolution" in state schools is supported by statistics on Internet use among youth: 

Today 93 percent of Italian youth access information and utilize communication technology everyday. 

Italy's movement to digitize state schools is in line with Italy, Italian Republic's new digital agenda.

The objectives of the digital project include:

1. bridging the gap between the current teaching language and that of the digital society
2. exploiting the potential of "networks"
3. making school environments more multifunctional
4. making innovation a driving force for development in schools; 
5. supporting new relationships with the public and private sectors.

أن المجتمع الرقمي: استغلال potentional "شبكات"، وجعل البيئة المدرسية أكثر "متعدد الوظائف"؛

مما يجعل الابتكار قوة دافعة للتنمية في المدارس، ودعم علاقات جديدة مع الجمهور
