The IHT Fashion Editor Suzy Menkes speaks with Fashion Designer Umit Benan Sahin about his style inspiration icon Nino Cerruti and his new collaboration with Trussardi Group.



Suzy Menkes as a reporter and critic has been recognized with a Légion d’Honneur from the French President for services to Fashion; and the Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) for fashion journalism from the Queen of England.

Umit Benan was born to Turkish parents in Stuttgart, Germany. When he was two years old the family moved to Istanbul.
